Labano Academy Assessment Policy

At Labano Academy, our goal is not just to teach—but to ensure that you learn, apply, and succeed. As you approach the completion of your training, it's time to demonstrate your knowledge, growth, and readiness for real-world opportunities. This is why participating in your final assessments is mandatory.

Why Assessments Matter

Assessments are a core part of your academic journey. They help us:

  • Evaluate your progress
  • Strengthen your understanding of course materials
  • Prepare you for industry expectations
  • Determine your eligibility for certification and internship recommendations


Note:

Students who do not complete the required assessments will not be certified and will not be eligible for internship placements.



Types of Assessments

Our assessment structure is designed to evaluate you across three key dimensions: knowledge, reasoning, and application.


1. Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs)

  • Objective tests covering key course concepts
  • Each test contains mixed-difficulty questions
  • Measures knowledge retention and accuracy
  • 3 sets | 10 points each

2. Essay-Based Assessments

  • Short and long-form written responses
  • Tests critical thinking, problem-solving, and articulation of ideas
  • Requires independent reasoning and originality
  • 2–4 sets (depending on program) | 15 points each


3. Capstone Projects (Practical Tasks)

  • Hands-on, real-world tasks based on your course
  • May include reports, data analysis, product designs, marketing plans, etc.
  • Simulates workplace challenges
  • 2 sets | 20–30 points each


Assessment Structure For 2/3 Month Courses

Total Assessments: 8 | Total Score: 100 Points

  • 3 x MCQ Tests (10 points each) = 30 points
  • 2 x Essay Assessments (15 points each) = 30 points
  • 2 x Capstone Projects (20 points each) = 40 points
  • Certification Eligibility: Score at least 60/100


Assessment Structure For 4 Month Courses

Total Assessments: 12 | Total Score: 150 Points

  • 3 x MCQ Tests (10 points each) = 30 points
  • 4 x Essay Assessments (15 points each) = 60 points
  • 2 x Capstone Projects (30 points each) = 60 points
  • Certification Eligibility: Score at least 60/100


Important Notes

1. All assessments are timed. Plan ahead and prepare thoroughly.

2. Each assessment allows only one submission attempt.

3. Deadlines must be strictly followed. Late or incomplete submissions will not be graded.

4. Original work is required. Plagiarism will lead to disqualification.

5. Results will be reviewed by your instructors and academic board.
