At Labano Academy, we are committed to providing a world-class educational experience. This Examination Policy outlines our expectations regarding academic conduct, how to handle exam-related challenges, and the consequences of not meeting required academic standards. Our aim is to ensure fairness, transparency, and academic excellence across all our programs.

Academic Integrity Expectations


1.1 Cheating and Plagiarism

Academic integrity is a cornerstone of our learning community. Any attempt to gain an unfair advantage through dishonest means is considered a violation. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Copying answers from others during assessments.
  • Using unauthorized materials or assistance
  • Falsifying data or submissions.

1.2 Plagiarism

Plagiarism includes presenting someone else's ideas or work as your own without proper acknowledgment. Examples include:

  • Copy-pasting content without credit.
  • Submitting another student's work, in whole or in part.

Collaboration is encouraged where applicable—such as in group tasks—but individual assessments must be completed independently, unless otherwise specified.


1.3 Submission of Original Work

All assignments, quizzes, and projects must reflect the student's own work. Any use of external sources must be properly cited. This ensures your progress truly reflects your knowledge and effort.


1.4 Consequences of Violations

Violations may result in:

  • Disqualification from the specific assessment.
  • Academic probation or warning.
  • In severe cases, removal from the program..

2. Handling Extenuating Circumstances

If a student is unable to complete an assessment due to serious personal issues (illness, emergencies, etc.), they must notify the Academic Review Team at support@labanoacademy.com at least 48 hours before the scheduled assessment begins. Informal communication via WhatsApp, social media, or Slack will not be accepted as official notice.


3. Missed Assessments Without Approval

Students who miss an exam or assessment without prior approval may face the following:

  • Ineligibility for Certification or Internship Referrals.
  • Academic probation or warning.Automatic deferment to the next training cycle, with a requirement to retake all missed components.
  • Payment of applicable fees if resuming in a new cohort.

Labano Academy reserves the right to update this policy at any time. All changes will be communicated via our official channels, including our website and student dashboard. Continued enrollment implies acceptance of the most recent version of this policy.
